Ingredients

  • 150 gram mushrooms (white cap)
  • 60 gram mature cheddar cheese (any brand will do)
  • 50 milliliter milk/water/kefir/ayran (room temperature)
  • to taste Spices (Any spice you preffer in your omelette)
  • 1 tablespoon any oil or butter (or 50 grams of butter)

Instructions

Preparation (4 minutes)

Whisk the eggs, milk, together till they start foaming and meld together, warm up a pan with oil/butter on it. Take the stems out of the mushrooms and grate/cut cheese for the filling.

Cooking (6 minutes)

When the oil is ready, fry the mushrooms to the desired colour (usually slightly browned), then add the egg mixture slowly and evenly into the pan. With a wooden spatula, pull the corners so that the egg base cooks evenly. Once the base is well cooked flip the egg if you can, add the spices and the cheese on top.
Flip the egg halfway or into a wrap so that the cheese and spices mix with the egg.
Serve with some drink, buttered toast or cherry tomatoes with lettuce.
